About the City RAMBLE

THE CITY RAMBLE DESIGN TRAILS is a key programme of Singapore Design Week 2018, happening 10 - 11 March, with three programming pillars: Stories, Heritage, and Process. These three will take participants further from the city centre to discover unique places and get up close and personal with design through stories, demos, workshops and installations.

STORIES is an urban guide featuring 5 creatives under 35 years old in the +65, including interviews, essays, and a Guide to Rambling- a free walking trail of 25 stops in various neighbourhoods around Singapore. HERITAGE is a guided tour of three sites rich in history and design. PROCESS is an experience taking you behind-the-scenes at various creative spaces, and exploring the latest design trends in Singapore.

SHOPHOUSE & CO is a placemaking studio that helps city agencies, companies & communities create inclusive and active places to live, work, and play. It does this by developing sustainable placemaking strategies; catalysing communities through creative programmes; and designing interventions that reimagines urban private and public spaces. By using its own unique placemaking methodology, the studio aims for these meaningful collective experiences and activations to create positive social and economic impact for the place and the community - ultimately creating a sense of place in our cities.
